Lavenham, South Suffolk

Lavenham prospered from the wool trade in the 15th and 16th century and the village is best known for its 15th century church and half timbered medieval cottages. It is a very popular day trip location for people from far and wide. The wealth of this village is reflected in the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, which is excessively large for the size of the village. The tower stands at 43m high and lays claim to being the tallest village church tower in the UK. The village is full of notable landmarks making it a very popular location for photographers.
