Loch Fyne and Inveraray, Argyll and Bute
Inveraray is located on the northern shore of Loch Fyne in Argyll and Bute, western Scotland. It is a sea loch fed by the Atlantic Ocean and is surrounded by lush wooded mountains creating traditionally Scottish views. The town was first established by the Duke of Argyll in the year 1745 who lived in the very grand building that is Inveraray Castle. The town is situated in a very scenic area of Scotland and is often referred to as the ‘gateway’ to the Scottish Highlands.
