Loch Lomond is a freshwater Scottish Loch which is located on the Highland Boundary Fault line. It’s shores border the counties of Argyll and Bute, Stirling, and West Dunbartonshire. It is the largest land-locked area of water in the UK, containing eleven small islands. The loch is approximately 24 miles long running north to south, and 0.75 miles wide. The tallest peak along it’s shores is Ben Lomond, standing 973m above mean sea level. Loch Lomond is a very popular tourist destination due to its natural beauty, making it the perfect stop for photographers.
