Suffolk Coast, England

The Suffolk Coast gallery captures many of the beautiful coastal towns, villages and iconic landmarks that have become synonymous with this county's coastal landscape. It borders the English Channel on the eastern side of Suffolk, with its many Heaths designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The coastline has ancient woodland, commercial forestry, farmland, salt marshes, heathland, mudflats, reed beds, shingle beaches, low eroding cliffs, many towns and villages and of course the estuaries of the rivers Alde, Blyth, Deben, Orwell and Stour. The Suffolk Heritage Coast extends approximately 60 miles from Lowestoft in the north to Felixstowe in the south and covers a diverse coastal landscape.
